Now...Through 7 pm...Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are moving east through parts of western Florida from near sarasota...To north of cedar key...And east to near lakeland. These showers and are expected to strengthen and spread southeast throughout the night. Expect gusty winds...Brief heavy rainfall...And occasional lightning associated with these showers.
