Now...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue north of interstate 20 and east of interstate 35. These storms will be capable of producing a quick half inch of rainfall and an occasional lightning strike. Storm movement will be to the north at 15 to 20 mph. A large area of rain a few embedded thunderstorms is moving into western portions of north Texas. This area of rain will be approaching the dfw region by 1 am and will produce generally less than 1/4 of an inch of rainfall. Otherwise...A cold front is moving through north Texas currently draped along interstate 35. Behind this front...Winds will be out of the north and northwest and temperatures will cool. Ahead of the front...Fog May reduce visibilities..Generally south of i-20.
