Now...Through mid-afternoon...Light to moderate rain will impact areas mainly west of the i-35 corridor. The area of precipitation will continue to expand northeastward and cover much of north Texas by the afternoon commute. Additional rainfall this afternoon will generally be under 1/4 inch...But a few locations in western north Texas will see totals exceed one inch. Lighter amounts are expected in areas east of i-35. Where rain falls...Temperatures will remain in the 40s. Outside of rain areas...Cool and cloudy conditions will prevail...With temperatures slowly climbing into the lower 50s.
