Now...Moderate rain will continue to lift northeast across the coastal plain of North Carolina through 3 am. The rain May initially mix with sleet in colder locations but will change over to all rain through the overnight hours as temperatures slowly rise. Rainfall amounts will range from a quarter to half inch. Little to no sleet accumulation is expected.
