Now...An area of stronger showers and thunderstorms is moving northeast at 30mph across northeast Louisiana...Southeast Arkansas...The southern delta and central Mississippi. Rainfall rates will this storm complex will range from a couple tenths of an inch per hour upwards to three quarters of an inch per hour. These storms could contain gusty winds up to 40mph. These showers and thunderstorms will continue off to the northeast through 3 pm this afternoon. Additional development of showers and thunderstorms is expected for later this afternoon.
