Now...Scattered light snow showers or flurries will continue to affect portions of central Iowa and areas farther southeast toward newton and grinnell through 900 pm. Accumulations should be less than an inch...But travel conditions could deteriorate quickly from place to place due to the reduced visibility and coating of snow or ice that develops from melting and refreezing snow. Area motorists are urged to exercise caution and slow down when encountering areas of light snow this evening.
