Now...Scattered showers will continue across central and eastern Vermont through 1230 pm. As of 1030 am...Temperatures were still below freezing in most areas...So any precipitation should fall as sleet or freezing rain. The best chance for any freezing rain will be in the sheltered valleys east of the green mountains. Occasional light mixed precipitation will continue through early this afternoon..But steadier precipitation is expected to develop late this afternoon into this evening. At This time...Little to no ice accumulation is expected across much of the area through early afternoon. However...Even a small amount of ice can make roadways slick...Especially bridges and back roads. Motorists should use caution when driving and be aware of changing road conditions.
