Now...Patchy freezing fog can be expected across south central and southeast Wisconsin through about 9 am. This freezing fog will coat some untreated road surfaces with a layer of frost...Resulting in slippery conditions. The freezing fog was due to some breaks in the cloud cover that allowed temperatures to fall into the single digits. Localized reductions in visibilities down to 1/4 to 1/2 mile occurred with the brief breaks in cloud cover. Motorists should be on the lookout for patchy freezing fog and slow down.
