Regional Weather Discussion...Light freezing rain... Sleet and snow will diminish by mid morning over north central Oklahoma... But periods of light snow or ice will continue. Radar at 805 am indicated an area of heavier precipitation from east central Oklahoma... Around seminole and holdenville... South to near ardmore and durant. Most of this precipitation... Which was occurring in the form of rain... Was moving rapidly northeast. An isolated thunderstorm or two was also occurring. Esewhere... Patches of freezing drizzle... Mixed with snow in some areas... Was diminishing over central and northwestern Oklahoma. Temperatures will slowly rise over these areas during the morning. Radar indicated that precipitation was ending in most areas from west central Oklahoma southward into western north Texas. Light rain and drizzle... Or freezing drizzle... Will end by mid to late morning over most of north central and central Oklahoma as the existing area of precipitation moves off to the northeast.
