Now...At 1115 pm...A few patches of very light snow were developing over north Alabama. This activity is expected to increase and develop into southern middle Tennessee and the cumberland plateau during the next few hours. The snow is expected to be very light at The start...So no travel problems are expected through 2 am. As the snow increases across the plateau later in the night...Slick spots will develop. A winter weather advisory is in effect until until noon Saturday for the plateau.
