Cloud cover across southern Oklahoma will also expand northward during the afternoon. As the atmosphere continues to moisten... The coverage of rain will to expand northward through the evening. The thickening clouds and increasing chances for rain are occurring in response to an upper level storm system moving east through southwest Texas. The track of the storm is expected to result in the highest chances for precipitation being across southern Oklahoma and north Texas. Afternoon temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the mid 50s with the coolest readings being under the thicker clouds of southwest Oklahoma and western north Texas.
