Now...Through 10 pm...A broad area of light to moderate shower activity will continue to move northeastward over portions of eastern Louisiana as well as central...Southern...Southeastern and eastern Mississippi. Rainfall rates along and south of the interstate 20 corridor will range between a tenth to a quarter inch per hour. Higher rates of up to a half inch per hour will also be possible in heavier downpours. These showers are expected to continue through the evening and overnight hours.
