Now...An area of light to moderate snow over southern lassen county...Eastern plumas and sierra counties will spread south to the northern portion of the lake Tahoe Basin and the north and west portions of the reno vicinity by 11 am. This snow will continue through early this afternoon with accumulations up to 2 inches in portions of eastern California including Portola...Susanville...The sierra valley...And truckee. Travel on interstate 80 between reno and donner summit...Highways 89 and 70...And highway 395 between reno and susanville will become difficult through early this afternoon.
