Now...Showers and an isolated thunderstorm will move rapidly northeast across the area through 4 am. Brief periods of heavy rain and gusty winds likely from time to time. The risk of a severe storm is not out of the question but can not be totally ruled out. Prolonged heavy rain is not expected but totals approaching an inch are possible from repeating heavy showers...Some ponding of water on area roads possible along with some flooding of poor drainage areas.
