Now...Fog is becoming more widespread in the sacramento and northern san joaquin valleys and also into the delta area. Visibilities are mainly 1/4 mile or greater at 1030 pm with isolated spots reporting less than a 1/4 mile. Dense fog advisory has been issued for later tonight as fog becomes widespread dense and significantly impacts travel. Motorists in the central valley and delta should be prepared for slow driving conditions and poor visibilities overnight into Friday morning.
