Now...At 5:10 pm an area of rain was spreading into the western sections of the delta and the eastern sections of the bay area. The rain will continue to move eastward into the central valley. The rain will likely spread into sacramento...Stockton and modesto between 6 and 7 pm this evening. Roads will become slick this evening. When traveling increase following distances and allow for extra time to reach your destination.
