Now...A winter weather advisory remains in effect through 9 am Wednesday morning for areas northwest of a line from lampasas...To hillsboro... To sulphur springs. Periods of light rain will impact areas east of i-35 and south of i-30. The precipitation will gradually come to an end by 3 am...With only patchy drizzle lingering thereafter. Some sleet or snow May mix with the rain...But additional wintry precipitation is not a concern in the advisory area. However...Residual water on roadways May result in icy patches overnight...Particularly on bridges and overpasses. Motorists are urged to exercise caution overnight. Ice May be present...Even on roads that did not accumulate snow.
