Now...Through 1 am...A band of moderate to briefly heavy showers and a few thunderstorms...Associated with a cold front...Will move east at 30 mph into portions of upper southeast Texas. The heaviest shower activity will affect areas from the sam rayburn reservoir to woodville to thicket. Wind gusts to 30 mph...Isolated lightning strikes...And rainfall rates between 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch per hour can be expected with this activity. Elsewhere...A few light showers will develop across portions of lower southeast Texas...Southwest Louisiana and west central Louisiana. Rainfall rates with these showers will be less than 1/10 of an inch per hour.
