Now...The short term forecast for the genesee valley and northern finger lakes. Showers of varying intensity will overspread the region through the afternoon. Rainfall amounts will be in the 1 to 2 tenths inch range. The showers will end over monroe and livingston counties between 4 to 5, and an hour or 2 later in areas east of rochester.
