Now...At 9:47 pm...National weather service radars detected an area of light snow showers covering parts of osage... Pawnee... And Washington counties moving east at Close to 20 miles per hour. Another area of snow showers was also detected over carroll county moving southeast at 20 miles per hour. Through 11:00 pm...Snow showers are expected to expand in areal coverage during the night time hours with snow accumulations expected to remain light ranging between as much as 2 inches in some locations to an inch. Over the next hour most of the precipitation is expected to remain north and west of interstate 44 in Oklahoma. While snow showers are expected to continue and expand in coverage across portions of northwest Arkansas. A winter weather advisory is in effect for portions of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through 4pm cst Sunday.
