Now...Snow showers or flurries will continue across the region through 6 pm. Some of the snow showers will be heavy at Times, especially across the interstate 81 corridor from binghamton to cortland, and along route 17 east of elmira. Some of these heavier snow showers May produced localized snow accumulations up to 2 inches. Untreated roads May develop some slick spots early this evening as temperatures drop below freezing.
