Regional Weather Discussion...Low clouds and patchy fog will continue to cover much of the northern half of Oklahoma this morning. Some of the fog will be locally dense with visibilities of near half a mile a times. As temperatures remain well below freezing this morning... Some areas could see the fog condense out and freeze on some surfaces making for slick spots on area roadways and walkways. Use caution if you are out this morning... Especially across northwest Oklahoma where more of the dense fog exists. Otherwise... The low clouds are expected to hold in across northern and western Oklahoma today and May expand farther south across central and southern Oklahoma this afternoon. At 9 am... Skies were mostly sunny in areas south and east of a altus to chickasha... To Oklahoma city and shawnee line. However is remains very cold across all of Oklahoma and north Texas with temperatures ranging from near the single digits in north-central Oklahoma to the middle 20s near the Red River. North to northeast winds of 5 to 15 mph were creating wind chills from just below zero in north-central Oklahoma to the teens in the Red River valley.
