Now...Areas of showers and thunderstorms continue across south central Louisiana this evening ahead of a cold front. Rainfall rates are generally less than one inch per hour. Shower activity tapers off back towards lake charles and beaumont. Storms also extend out into the gulf beyond 60 miles of the Texas...Louisiana coast. Storms are moving to the northeast. Areas of patchy fog continues to limit visibility over southeast Texas and southern Louisiana. Areas of fog will persist through sunrise.
