Now...Light to moderate rain showers will persist across central and eastern Mississippi through 530 pm. Rainfall rates will generally be less than a tenth of an inch per hour. Rainfall will slowly tapper off this evening...But more light to moderate rain will be moving in across northeast Louisiana and southwest Mississippi later tonight.
