Regional Weather Discussion...Light rain will continue to spread slowly northward from north Texas and southern Oklahoma into portions of central Oklahoma by late afternoon or early evening. Light sleet May occasionally be mixed with the rain across southern Oklahoma and north Texas. Since surface temperatures will remain above freezing into the evening hours... No travel problems are anticipated due to the sleet. The wet weather is occurring in response to an upper level storm system moving through southwest Texas. The track of the storm is expected to result in the highest chances for precipitation being across mainly southern Oklahoma and north Texas. Afternoon temperatures will range from the mid 40s to the upper 50s with the coolest readings being under the rain in southwest Oklahoma and western north Texas.
