Now...At 7:45 am...National weather service doppler radar indicated that the light snow across far northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas has for the most part come to an end and pushed out of the area. The remaining light snow across portions of northwest Arkansas will continue to move out of the region over the next hour. The winter weather advisory has been canceled for extreme northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas. Winds of 15 to 30 mph will continue across the region this morning and result in very low wind chills ranging from around zero to 15 degrees.The wind will also continue to cause some drifting of the snow. With the winds being westerly...The north to south roads will be most susceptible to the drifting snow. Travel remains hazardous to impossible in much of the area. This will be the final short term forecast for this event.
