Now...Through 9 am...A line of showers and thunderstorms extends from central rapides parish south into the coastal waters. This line will continue to push to the east at 25-30 mph. Additional showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop ahead of the squall line and move to the north at 25-30 mph. Frequent lightning and gusty winds can be expected along and ahead of the squall line. Isolated tornadoes are also possible. A tornado watch remains in effect for southwest Louisiana parishes through 1 pm.
