Now...Areas of fog have developed this morning across the central and southern sacramento valley as well as the northern san joaquin valley and the delta. Visibilities are generally ranging a quarter mile and a mile. However...A handful of locations are reporting visibilities less than a quarter mile...And chp is reporting patchy dense fog along highway 99. Patchy dense fog will be possible over the next couple of hours...Especially near waterways and open fields. Motorists are urged to use caution as visibilities May reduce suddenly in locally dense fog. Slow down...Leave extra space between cars...And use your low beams.
