Now...Rain will be spreading east across the area overnight. Shortly after midnight...The rain was just beginning to move into the sierra Nevada...But was still west of the southern cascades. Look for the rain to move into these areas between 2 to 3 am. The rain should turn to snow above the 3500 to 4000 foot levels with a couple of inches of accumulation expected.
