Now...Light to moderate rain will continue through the night across all of south central and southeast Wisconsin. Hourly rainfall rates will be mostly several hundredths of an inch to one tenth of an inch. The strongest forcing associated with deep low pressure over Missouri will affect our area through the late night into Friday morning. This will produce brief bouts of heavy rainfall of one quarter inch in one hours time. Overnight rainfall between one half inch and one and one quarter inch is likely over the area. The rainfall and melting snow will result in ponding of water on most roadways...And perhaps some minor street flooding. Slow down should you encounter these puddles of deeper water. Temperatures are expected to remain above freezing for the duration of the rainfall this morning...So no icing is expected. However some slushiness from earlier mixed precipitation May still linger on some secondary roads.
