Through 11 am...This precipitation is expected to fall mainly as light rain across the southern Texas panhandle... But May eventually become mixed with light snow or sleet. Precipitation amounts will remain light this morning...But this precipitation is forecast to transition to mainly for for locations on the caprock...With the mixture continuing through much of the afternoon for lower elevations. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the southern Texas panhandle today and tonight...Where total accumulations of one to three inches of snow are expected before this system moves to the east.
