Regional Weather Discussion...Early this morning... Brisk north winds were gusting 25 to 35 mph across much of Oklahoma and western north Texas. Temperatures ranged from the teens across northern Oklahoma to the 20s over southern Oklahoma and western north Texas. The north winds were combined with the cold temperatures were resulting in sub-zero wind chills in northern Oklahoma. Wind chills were generally in the single digits and teens over the remainder of the area. If you have to be out this morning... Be sure to dress in layers and wear a hat and gloves. It would also be a good idea to make sure pets are sheltered.
