Now...Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am est this morning... Widespread dense fog will persist early this morning before dissipating by mid morning. Visibilities below one-quarter mile will be common for much of Maryland...Central and northern Virginia...And eastern West Virginia. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when driving this morning...And be prepared for rapid reductions in visibility.
