Regional Weather Discussion...Just before 8 am... The cold front extended from near holdenville to ardmore Oklahoma to near abilene Texas and was continuing to move southeast. North winds of 10 to 20 mph are occurring to the north of the front and temperatures were falling into the mid 30s into the 40s. Temperatures to the south of the front were generally in the upper 50s and 60s... But will cool after the front moves through. Rain continues to develop and expand northeast. Just before 8 am... The rain was most widespread across southwestern Oklahoma into the southeastern Texas panhandle and west Texas with additional scattered showers developing farther north and east. Through the mid morning hours... This rain will continue to expand and move into west central and central Oklahoma while the rain in west Texas moves into portions of western north Texas. Some areas will receive rainfall of more than one-tenth of an inch per hour.
