Now...Areas of dense fog persist across portions of the southern sacramento valley...The delta...And the northern san joaquin valley. The most extensive area of dense fog extends southward along the interstate 5 and highway 99 corridor...Eastward to near carmichael and fair oaks. Also affected are parts of yolo and yuba counties. A dense fog advisory is in effect for these areas through 10:00 am. Motorists traveling the morning commute should be prepared to encounter sudden changes in visibilities...And allow extra time for this mornings commute.
