Now...A large area of light rain is spreading across the houma/thibodaux area and moving northeastward towards baton rouge and metro new orleans. This area of rain is moving towards the northeast at Around 30 mph. Rainfall rates of generally less than one tenth of an inch per hour can be expected this morning.
