Now...A band of moderate to heavy rain...Extending from the delta southward through the northern san joaquin valley will continue to spread into the sacramento area and motherlode over the next hour or so. Heavier showers embedded in this band will locally reduce visibilities down to a half mile at Times...And will likely cause ponding of water on the roadways. Motorists are urged to slow down and leave plenty of space between the cars...As conditions along area interstates...Highways...Roadways will be slick through the evening rush hours.
