Now...A thick pea soup fog has Decreased in areal coverage across western and parts of south central and southeast Minnesota since 500 am. The thickest fog is occurring between st cloud and fergus falls...And between benson and park rapids. This includes places like wadena and long prairie...Sauk centre... Glenwood...Alexandria. Also places like olivia and springfield in the southwest. Fog is lifting and visibilities are improving around albert lea...Austin and rochester in the south central and southeast. Visibility is reduced to a quarter mile or less...And is expected to improve the rest of the morning. Motorists are urged to exercise caution in foggy areas. These are dangerous conditions for multi car pile ups. Slow down...And use low beam headlights.
