Rainfall rates will be near a tenth of an inch, with heavier amounts of a quarter to three quarters of an inch over portions of cameron county. Motorists are urged to drive with extra caution, as the rains will continue to produce ponding of water on the roadways. Evening temperatures will hold steady in the mid 40s.
