Now...At 1115 am, a final band of rain and higher elevation snow is crossing the cascade east slopes and Columbia River gorge. This band will continue to move northeast during the mid-day period across the lower kittitas valley, the yakima valley, the lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Washington, and the blue mountain foothills of Oregon and Washington. There continues to be pockets of freezing surface air in these locations where a brief period of freezing rain will occur. Very little, if any, ice accumulations May occur through 130 pm.
