Now...A thick pea soup fog has expanded in areal coverage across parts of northwest and west central Minnesota since midnight. The thickest fog is occurring between st cloud and fergus falls...And between willmar and park rapids. This includes places like wadena and long prairie...Sauk centre...Glenwood...Alexandria...Elbow lake and detroit lakes. Visibility is reduced to a quarter mile or less. The fog is expected to last all night and May expand in coverage. Motorists are urged to exercise caution in foggy areas. These are dangerous conditions for multi car pile ups. Slow down...And use low beam headlights.
