Through 5 pm...Most of this will fall in the form of rain. However...A transition to snow from west to east is forecast after sunset with locations off the caprock likely continuing with a mixture of rain...Snow and possibly sleet through midnight. Total snow accumulations of around 1 inch are possible...Especially in the southern Texas panhandle where a winter weather advisory remains in effect through tonight. In addition...A strong cold front will move through the panhandles tonight...Resulting in strong north winds of 20 to 30 mph...With higher gusts.
