Now...Winter weather advisory remains in effect through 6 pm... Through at Least mid afternoon...Narrow bands of light to briefly moderate snow will continue forming across and moving southward across portions of south central Nebraska...Mainly affecting areas east of a line from ord to kearney to red cloud. Although additional snow amounts are unlikely to exceed one half inch in most places...Sustained northwest winds of around 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 35 mph will continue presenting considerable issues with blowing and drifting snow...And periodic visibility reductions to less than 1/2 mile. While areas of light snow will continue off an on into the evening hours...Winds will continue to slowly subside. By sunset...Sustained speeds will be easing below 20 mph...With gusts lowering to around 25 mph.
