Now...Snowfall has ended over the extreme southwestern panhandle and the western south plains...And will taper off by 10 am over the central south plains...Including The lubbock area. However strong northerly winds sustained in the 25 to 35 mph range with gusts over 40 mph will continue to result in reduced visibilities in blowing snow and hazardous travel conditions. Travel is strongly discouraged.
