Now...Periods of snow will continue into early evening across central Illinois. Expect up to an additional 1 to 2 inches of snow possible with locally higher amounts by 8 pm. The snow will briefly limit visibilities to less than a mile at Times. South to southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph and gusts of 20 to 30 mph will produce some blowing snow in open areas.
