Now...After a brief lull in activity...Rain and snow showers have redeveloped just off the redwood coast and will move onshore and affect the eureka vicinity through 9 pm. Snow levels will gradually drop to near 1000 feet by late evening. Heavier shower activity May also be mixed with small hail. Use extra caution if traveling this evening...Including Along portions of highway 101. Reduce your speed and give yourself plenty of braking distance. Roadways May quickly become quite slippery or icy...Especially in local high spots.
