Now...An area of light to moderate snow from dubuque to the quad cities to galesburg will move northeast across parts of north central and northeast Illinois this morning. An additional inch or two of snow is possible...Mainly northwest of a line from mendota to waukegan. Snow will taper off to flurries by around noon. Strong west to northwest winds will cause temperatures to fall into the 20s. Gusty winds will also cause some blowing and drifting of snow. Drive with caution.
