Now...Widespread light to moderate rain will continue to fall across much of southwest Louisiana and offshore coastal waters. Rainfall rates of a tenth of an inch per hour or less can be expected across much of the area with a few heavier showers approaching a quarter of an inch per hour. Rain will continue to move to the northeast at Around 30 mph.
