Now...Widespread rain showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to push northeast across the midsouth through the evening hours. Additional rainfall amounts of up to three quarters of an inch per hour are possible in extreme northeast Arkansas. Heaviest rainfall is currently confined north of interstate 40 and west of interstate 55.
