Regional Weather Discussion...Arctic high pressure had modified somewhat...But the air remained cold and dry across the southern plains. The center of the high was located along the Oklahoma and Arkansas border. As the high drifts out of the region...Light easterly winds will very gradually become southerly later tonight. Temperatures will not be as cold as they were on Wednesday evening...But the entire region was already below freezing at 7 pm. Most locations reported middle to upper
